Jan Wahlberg Prize
This prize to encourage a young research worker in the field of contact dermatitis will be to the value of €2,000 and the successful individual will be expected to give a lecture during the Congress on the topic of their submission.
The individual must be 45 years old or less and provide clinical or research work in the field of contact dermatitis that has been recently published or submitted for publication within the past 2 years.
The article should be sent to the ESCD secretariat by the 16th April 2010. Confidentiality will be maintained if the work has not already been published.
The jury will be Thomas Diepgen, Ana Gimenez-Arnau, Jean-Pierre Lepoittevin and Mark Wilkinson.
Travel Grants for the ESCD Congress, September 2010 Strasbourg, France
10 travel grants are available for junior researchers who have submitted an abstract to the Congress. The grants are for €1000 and will be given as a cheque to be drawn on a UK bank.
Individuals must be under 35 years old and can apply by submitting the abstract to the ESCD secretariat together with a brief 1 page curriculum vitae by 16th April 2010. ESCD membership is not obligatory but the abstract must be accepted for presentation at the congress.
